Compton: Deputies Investigating Shooting

12.17.2018 | 8:50 PM | COMPTON – Deputies were investigating after a reported shooting left one person hospitalized, Monday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting at the intersection of Avalon and Compton Boulevard around 8:50 PM.

While responding deputies received reports of a vehicle that pulled up to a private ambulance with a gunshot victim near the intersection of Del Amo and Main Avenue.

The private ambulance transported the gunshot victim to an area hospital.

It was unclear if the two incidents were related however officers secured both scenes pending their investigation.
