CLUB CREEK 211 Apartment Fire, Houston, TX

DETAILS:
- HFD responded to reports of a fire at Bayou West Condominiums Complex.
- Arriving units located an apartment complex with fire showing.
- Crews had issues with low water pressure and it delayed efforts with putting out the fire using the aerial apparatus.
- Crews had to fight the fire using hand lines until the water pressure issue was resolved.
- At that time the fire broke through the roof and the fire was upgraded to a 211 fire.
- Roughly about 40 to 60 firefighters were fighting the fire.
- Unfortunately 16-20 units were damaged due to the fire.
- The Red Cross has been requested.
- Fire crews located numerous spent firework boxes in the court yard.
- Witnesses said an aerial firework landed on a balcony which cause it to catch fire.
- At this time no reports of any injuries.
