Classic Chevrolet Reduced To Ashes In Anaheim Fire
Just before 4:00 p.m. on June 11, 2026, Anaheim Fire & Rescue responded to a reported vehicle fire near the intersection of West Lincoln Avenue and North Anaheim Boulevard.
When firefighters arrived, they found a classic 1930s-era Chevrolet Suburban fully engulfed in flames in traffic lanes.
Crews quickly attacked the fire, but the historic vehicle sustained catastrophic damage and was declared a total loss.
The owner told a news photographer at the scene that he had just picked up the vehicle from a mechanic shortly before the fire broke out.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire has not been released, and it is unclear what may have led to the vehicle becoming engulfed in flames.
Video from the scene shows firefighters working to extinguish the blaze as thick smoke poured from the burning SUV.
