Classic Car Totaled In Head On Crash

INCIDENT DATE/TIME:7-29-24, 10:07 p.m.
LOCATION: Highland Ave and Orangethorpe Ave
AREA/CITY:Fullerton
DETAILS:

1. Fullerton Police Department and Fullerton Fire Department responded to a reported head on traffic collision.
2. When they arrived they found a 1964 Buick Wildcat and a new Honda Accord with major front end damage.
3. The driver and the occupant from the Buick were trapped and had to be extricated and were transported to a local area hospital.
4. It appears that speed and possibly DUI might of played a factor in the collision.
5. The Buick merged into oncoming traffic, crashing and totaling both vehicles.
