Claremont: Freeway Crash Kills One, Hospitalizes Two Others

12.08.2018 | 1:50 AM | CLAREMONT – One person was dead and two others were hospitalized after a freeway crash involving two vehicles, early Saturday morning.

Officials responded to the two-vehicle crash with one vehicle reported to off the side of the freeway on the westbound I-210 freeway near Baseline Road.

Units arriving on scene discovered two people trapped inside a vehicle that had gone off the side of the freeway after colliding with another car.

Crews worked to extricate the trapped occupants however one of the two succumbed to there injuries and was pronounced on scene.

The other victim was extricated from the vehicle and transported to an area hospital along with the driver of the second vehicle involved.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
