Church Girl Shot by Stalker, Gets Run Over by Boyfriend

At approximately 9:37 p.m. on April 14, 2026, deputies responded to reports of a shooting in the 2100 block of Hartwick Road in Houston.

According to investigators, a woman returning home from church encountered a suspect on her property who had allegedly been stalking her for several days. During the encounter, the suspect opened fire, with one or more rounds striking the victim through her vehicle and injuring her in the shoulder.

The shooting occurred within the gated property. A second individual, identified as the woman’s boyfriend who was following behind in another vehicle, witnessed the incident and struck the suspect with his vehicle.

Both the victim and the suspect were transported to the hospital. The woman was reported to be undergoing surgery, while the suspect is expected to face charges upon release from medical care.

The investigation remains ongoing.
