Church Found Engulfed In Flames

Fire crews extinguished a fire in a multi use two-story building and gym, located near 19th Ave and Glenrosa. Firefighters arrived on scene around 1:00AM Sunday morning and found a fast moving fire, that appears to have started in a gymnasium and was extending into classrooms on the first and second floors. Crews made a fast aggressive interior attack on the fire, using hose lines in the building, while coordinating with ladder crews on the roof.

The aggressive fire attack, prevented the fire from spreading into surrounding buildings on the property.

There were no injuries reported on the fire ground and no displaced individuals. This appears to be a church campus, with a gymnasium and separate classrooms on site. Fire investigators responded to the scene and its too early to determine a cause of the fire at this time.
