Chula Vista: Good Samaritans Rescue Man From Possible Road Rage Accident
11.20.2020 | 9:30 AM | CHULA VISTA – The male victim was driving his Toyota northbound on the I-5 connecting ramp to the EB Hwy 54 when a driver of a BMW cut in front of him for no apparent reason according to a witness.
The driver of the Toyota swerved to avoid the BMW, lost control and went up the left shoulder embankment, and then came rolling down until he landed on the roof of the car.
The driver of the BMW simply kept going.
Good Samaritans pulled the driver out of the wreckage and one person used a fire extinguisher on the car as it began to catch fire.
The driver was transported to a local hospital for his minor injuries.
The CHP is investigating.
