Chula Vista: Firefighters Battle Stubborn RV Fire

12.04.2018 | 11:19 AM | CHULA VISTA – Firefighters were on scene battling a stubborn RV fire that forced the closure of several lanes, Tuesday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of an RV on fire in the 600 block of Broadway shortly before 11:20 AM.

Crews arriving on scene found the RV fully engulfed in flames with the driver outside of the vehicle.

Firefighters doused flames for nearly 30 minutes before completely extinguishing fire.

No injuries were reported but Broadway was closed between I and J streets as a result of the fire.
