DETAILS:

  1. Two dogs were saved after an owner left them for dead on the side of a freeway off ramp Monday night
  2. CHP officers were driving north on the 110 freeway when they came up upon multiple vehicles stopped on the Rosecrans Avenue off ramp
  3. Officers learned that someone abandoned two dogs on the off ramp and drove off. One was a Pitt Bull and the other was a small pug
