CHP Pursuit Ends in Serious Injury Crash of Suspect | San Diego

02.20.2022 | 11:09 AM | SAN DIEGO – A CHP officer attempted to stop a male riding a motorcycle who was speeding down the southbound I-805.

The rider sped up and started to evade the officer.

At times, the suspect was doing over 120 mph.

The suspect went southbound to the SR-15 and attempted to exit onto Ocean View Blvd near his home.

The rider failed to negotiate the curve on the off-ramp and hit the guard-rail and was ejected up and over the guard-rail.

The suspect suffered at least one broke leg, possibly both legs and possibly internal injuries.

The suspect was then transported to a local hospital.

The off-ramp was closed for approx 45 minutes.
