CHP Officers Extinguish Brush Fire

LOCATION: NB I-5 @ Grand Ave/Garnet Ave exit
AREA/CITY: San Diego
DETAILS:
- A homeless encampment caught fire along the northbound lanes of the I-5.
- Two CHP officers arrived first and used a fire extinguisher to put out the main portion of the fire.
- SDFD Firefighters then arrived and knocked out the remaining fire.
- No one was found at the fire.
