CHP Officer Involved Shooting Investigation | El Sereno

09.28.2021 | 3:30 AM | LOS ANGELES (CNS) – A person was fatally shot by California Highway Patrol officers today in the El Sereno area of Los Angeles. The shooting occurred at about 3:30 p.m. in the area of Medford and North Indiana streets, near the USC Keck School of Medicine, according to the CHP. The person’s identity was not immediately released. Details on what led up to the shooting were unclear, but no officers were injured. Video from 3:00 AM this morning shows Coroner’s officials on scene of the incident. Areas surrounding the scene remain closed while detectives continue to investigate the incident.
