According to Riverside County Sheriff, PIO On August 30, 2023, at 6:47 p.m., deputies responded to the area of Redlands Avenue and Mildred Street, in the city of Perris, regarding a traffic collision involving a California Highway Patrol (CHP) motorcycle and a truck. The CHP officer was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. The two occupants of the truck did not appear injured and declined medical attention at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
