CHP Motor Officer Down In Lanes On 605 Fwy

DETAILS:
- CHP got reports of a CHP Motor officer crashed with a van that was blocking the HOV lane on the 605 N fwy just south of Peck Off ramp
- CHP and LACoFD arrived at scene and and treated the downed officer and
- Firefighters put the officer in the ambulance but due to his injuries a LACoFd helicopter was dispatched to the scene
- The cause of the crash is unknown CHP is investigating and no other injuries were reported
- LACoFD’s helicopter arrived and landed on the fwy and transported the officer to a local area hospital in unknown condition
