DETAILS:
- First responders responded to a reported bicycle accident on a remote trail area off of highway 1.
- Upon arrival, CHP helicopter H-30 was requested due to the difficult access.
- Hoist rescue personnel extricated the victim by helicopter to an awaiting ambulance for treatment and transport.
- The victim was transported code 3 for unknown injuries.
