CHP Deploy Spike Strips & Less Lethal To Take Pursuit Suspect Into Custody

The suspected DUI driver surrendered to California Highway Patrol officers after they deployed a spike strip and used less than lethal weapons on him at Huntington Drive and Encanto Parkway in Duarte. Suspect said he was trying to get the car to his mom. The mother showed up to the scene, CHP released the vehicle to her as she is the registered owner. The pursuit lasted about one and a half hours.
