A suspected DUI driver was taken into custody after leading Chino Police on a pursuit that stretched into Los Angeles County early Saturday morning.
At approximately 3:00 a.m. on July 26, 2026, Chino Police officers were pursuing a driver suspected of driving under the influence and operating recklessly.
The pursuit continued into Los Angeles County, where Chino Police requested the California Highway Patrol take over once the pursuit reached southbound Interstate 110 near the 405 Freeway.
The pursuit came to an end on the southbound 110 Freeway at the Pacific Coast Highway exit in Wilmington, where the suspect safely stopped and surrendered.
The driver was taken into custody by CHP before being transferred back to Chino Police.
No injuries were reported during the pursuit.
