Chino Hills: One Dead After Fiery Crash

10.12.2019 | 1:50 AM | CHINO HILLS – A fiery crash left one person dead and three others injured, early Saturday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving three vehicles on the southbound SR-71 Freeway near Grand Avenue around 1:50 AM.

Units arriving on scene found a three-vehicle crash with one vehicle overturned and another on fire.

Crews quickly extinguished the vehicle fire and located a total of four victims involved in the crash.

One victim, an adult male, was pronounced deceased on scene. Three other victims were treated on scene and transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is remains under investigation.
