Children Stuck Atop Carnival Ride

LOCATION: 1300 E Janss Road

DETAILS:

1. A parent called 911 reporting that multiple children were stuck atop a ride at “Conejo Valley Days”
2. The children were uninjured the ride had just broke down
3. Firefighters arrived and assisted to getting the children out of the ride
4. Multiple ambulances staged as a precaution along with a technical rescue response from Ventura County fire
5. A ladder truck pulled up next to the ride incase their ladder had to be utilized
6. The ride was shut down after the incident
