Child Sent to Hospital in Hit & Run Crash | El Cajon

10.10.2021 | 1:03 AM | EL CAJON – A male traveling Northbound on Jamacha Road in a red Chevrolet Silverado when he suddenly struck a white Range Rover near the intersection of Jamacha Road and Penasco Road.

The suspect then continued and struck a black Lexus SUV just a block away on Hidden Mesa Road and Jamacha Road causing the SUV to roll over and land on its wheels.

The suspect then continued Northbound on Jamacha where he sideswiped a pickup truck causing the Silverado to crash along the curb line of the opposite lanes of the street near the intersection of Washington St. & Jamacha Road.

A small child that was riding in the black Lexus SUV was taken to the hospital to be evaluated.

The driver of the Silverado was given a breathalyzer test where it was determined he was over the legal alcohol limit, he was arrested without incident.

No other injuries were reported, the child was in a car seat at the time of the crash.
