Child & Mother Airlifted After Serious Crash | Castaic

02.06.2021 | 4:52 PM | CASTAIC – Officials responded to reports of a traffic collision involving one maroon van overturned.

When units arrived on scene they found one overturned vehicle with multiple critical patients. One child, in critical condition, was prepped for airlift.

One female, possibly the mother of the child, also in critical condition. One male, possibly the father of the child, with more minor injuries, was transported by helicopter as well.

In total, 3 patients, 2 critical and one minor were airlifted to Northridge Hospital.

It is said that the van hit the center divided and overturned. It is unclear if speed, drugs or alcohol were involved.
