Child Burned in Fiery Crash in Jurupa Valley

At approximately 1:35pm on March 17th, 2026, Cal Fire crews and Riverside County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a reported traffic collision with fire near Jurupa Road and Etiwanda Avenue in Jurupa Valley.

Upon arrival, first responders located a two-vehicle collision with one of the vehicles engulfed in flames. Two victims were found at the scene, including a young person who suffered burn injuries.

An air medical unit was initially requested; however, both victims were transported by ground ambulance shortly after due to quicker response time.

Authorities stated one patient was transported in stable condition, while the second patient was transported in critical condition.

The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
