Charger Driver Flees After Crashing Into Multiple Cars

At approximately 12:30 a.m. on May 9, 2026, emergency crews responded to a multi-vehicle crash near San Pedro Street and 120th Street in South Los Angeles.

Investigators say a black Dodge Charger traveling northbound struck another vehicle before crashing into four parked cars along the street.

Authorities reported the driver of the Charger fled the scene on foot, leaving behind three female passengers.

The vehicle that was initially struck had three occupants inside. The driver was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries while passengers remained at the scene.

The female passengers from the Charger were later seen gathering personal belongings from the crashed vehicle.

The investigation remains ongoing as officers work to identify and locate the fleeing driver.
