Chaos Erupts After Shooting At Teen Party In Compton
At approximately 11:00 p.m. on May 30, 2026, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a shooting at a large house party near Central Avenue and Rosecrans Boulevard in Compton.
Deputies estimated that hundreds of juveniles, many believed to be between 11 and 14 years old, were attending the gathering.
Authorities said one juvenile was struck by gunfire and transported to a hospital. The victim was reported to be in stable condition as deputies continued their investigation.
While deputies were processing the scene, multiple fights broke out among partygoers, spreading across several blocks and creating chaotic conditions throughout the neighborhood.
