Cerritos: Freeway Pileup Leaves Motorcyclist Dead

12.02.2018 | 2:28 AM | CERRITOS – A motorcyclist was dead after a stalled vehicle caused a pileup crash, Sunday morning.

Officials responded to reports of motorcycle that had collided with a stalled vehicle on the eastbound SR-91 near Bloomfield Avenue shortly before 2:30 AM.

While responding, reports came in of additional vehicles that had collided with the first crash, causing a massive freeway pileup.

Firefighter paramedics arriving on scene found a motorcyclist down and pronounced him deceased on scene.

All other parties escaped without serious injuries however the freeway had to be shut down while police investigated.
