*CAUGHT ON CAMERA* DUI Driver Slams Into Stalled Driver On Freeway | National City

05.07.2022 | 1:42 AM | NATIONAL CITY – A newer model BMW Coupe was driving recklessly Southbound on the I-5 freeway when it suddenly struck a White Lexus Sedan causing it to lose control and striking another motorist traveling in a Black BMW sedan. The Black BMW also caused a chain reaction crash to a Black Volvo sedan that ended up being stalled on the #4 lane of the I-5 freeway. An unknowingly motorist who was also driving Southbound in a KIA SUV struck the stalled Volvo sedan and crashed. Fortunately no one was seriously injured in the crash. The occupants of the White Lexus sedan fled shortly after the crash. The driver of the Volvo sedan was evaluated for DUI and ultimately arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. The driver of the White BMW Coupe was also evaluated and arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
