*CAUGHT ON CAMERA* CHP Officers Spike Pursuit Suspect | Ventura

06.16.2021 | 1:30 AM | VENTURA – Santa Barbara County Sheriff deputies attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation early Wednesday morning in the Goleta area.

The vehicle failed to yield to deputies and a pursuit was initiated with speeds exceeding 90 mph at times.

SBSO handed off the pursuit to CHP Santa Barbara as the pursuit continued southbound on US-101 who then handed it off to CHP Ventura when they entered their jurisdiction.

CHP officers spiked the suspect’s vehicle on the 101 southbound at Telephone Rd.

The suspect stopped about a half mile down the road where he was taken into custody without further incident.

The suspect told officers he didn’t stop because he felt like he did nothing wrong.
