Castaic Canyons: One Dead, Another Injured After Crash Into Tree

08.15.2020 | 4:01 PM | LOS ANGELES – One person was dead and another was rushed to a hospital after their vehicle collided with a tree, Saturday evening.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision on Bouquet Canyon Road near Texas Canyon Road in the Castaic Canyons area around 4:01 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a white SUV that had collided with a tree along a hillside.

One person inside the vehicle was pronounced deceased on scene while the other was rushed to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
