Castaic Canyon Fire

LOCATION: Hasely Canyon Rd
AREA/CITY: Castaic / L.A. County, West of Santa Clarita
DETAILS:

1. The Canyon Fire that started on the border of Ventura County quickly burned into L.A. County and within hours, it had torched thousands of acres.
2. Hundreds of people in communities of Castaic off of Hasley Canyon rd have been evacuated as the raging inferno burned towards their homes.
3. The continues to burn in a north-eastern direction, that is to the west of Piru lake.
4. Firefighters are fighting vigilantly to protect homes as hotshot crews and more engines show up.
