Cars Found In The LA River After Storm In Paramount CA

LOCATION: Alondra Boulevard Bridge over LA River

DETAILS:

1. LA County Public Works employees driving along the LA River in Paramount, bordering Long Beach, came across two cars that were stuck against the pillars of the Alondra Boulevard Bridge and the Atlantic Avenue Bridge after heavy rain hammered the area the day before.
2. Firefighters responded out to check both cars, which had heavy damage.
3. After checking, swift water specialist firefighters marked both vehicles as empty.
4. It is not clear where the cars came from or how they ended up in the river.
5. The investigation is ongoing.
