Cars Crash Into Large Tree Toppled by Wind | Oxnard

01.09.2022 | 10:33 PM | OXNARD – Oxnard Police and Fire Departments responded to reports of several vehicles that had crashed into a downed tree on Oxnard Blvd just south of Channel Islands Blvd.

When authorities arrived on scene, the found a large eucalyptus tree down across all southbound lanes with two vehicles that had collided into it.

A female occupant in one of the vehicles was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

One of the involved parties stated off camera that the tree was not visible in the roadway until it was too late to react accordingly.

The tree was believed to have been blown over due to windy conditions.

No other injuries were reported.
