Carlsbad: Downtown Stabbing Leaves Man Seriously Injured

07.25.2020 | 11:15 PM | CARLSBAD – A man was seriously injured after being stabbed downtown, Friday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a stabbing at a parking lot located in the 2900 block of Roosevelt Street around 11:15 PM.

Units arriving on scene located an unresponsive male down suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Firefighter paramedics rushed the man to Scripps La Jolla in an air ambulance where he was listed in critical condition.

The circumstances surrounding the stabbing incident are under investigation.

No suspect description or motive was immediately available.
