Carjacking Pursuit Ends With Pit Maneuver

1. According to Riverside Police Department PIO, Ryan Railsback, Riverside Police Department responded to a reported car jacking in the area of Loma Vista Street and Ottawa Ave in Riverside.  Shortly after, a RPD officer located the vehicle and a pursuit ensued.  The suspect led police through multiple neighborhoods and busy intersections until they were able to successfully disable the vehicle using a pit maneuver.  The female suspect was taken into custody.  The details on how the car jacking occurred and victim information was not immediately available.
