Houston PD Unit Crashes During Pursuit

DETAILS:
- HPD Officers assigned to Westside patrol attempted a traffic stop on a male
- the male was initially cooperative and provided an ID
- Officers smelled marijuana and attempted to extract the driver
- a struggle ensued and the suspect jumped back into his car and attempted to drive off
- one of the officers, a female, was dragged by the suspect
- The female and her partner returned to their patrol vehicle, and a pursuit ensued
- Officers crashed during the pursuit
- the suspect was eventually located at his residence and taken into custody
- The suspect will be charged with felony evading and felony Agg Assault on a PO
