Carjacking Ends in Car into Building (Caught On Camera) | San Diego

06.06.2022 | 10:50 AM | SAN DIEGO – A male Door Dash employee was making a food delivery to a customer on Ray St, when a female got into his running car and stole it. The male jumped onto the hood of the car as the female started to drive away. She hit a street sign and he went flying down the street (caught on video) and suffered a head injury. He was transported to a local hospital. She drove wildly down to the South Park area, and she reportedly hit several parked cars. She blew through the stop sign at Fern & Grape and went into the Native Poppy store and an adjacent business. The suspect then fled on foot eastbound on Fern and attempted to get into a moving SUV. When that failed, she ran into a canyon where a Good samaritan followed and detained her for the Police. She was eventually transported to a local hospital.
