Car-to-Car Shooting Shuts Down 405 Freeway in Long Beach

LOCATION: S 405 Fwy & Cherry

DETAILS:

1.  CHP responded to reports of a car to car shooting on the Southbound 405 fwy just south of Cherry
2. Victim was transported to a local hospital before they arrived in unknown condition
3. Passenger of the vehicle was injured in the shooting and transported to a local hospital
4. CHP arrived and walked the entire freeway to lakewood blvd to search for casings leaving the fwy stopped
5. Motorists were out of their vehicles, as they remained stranded on the freeway
