Car Slams Into AT&T Worker | Chula Vista

11.03.2021 | 10:52 PM | CHULA VISTA – Two AT&T workers were on the side of the St (C St.) laying cable when the male driver of the red car slammed into the back of the work truck that the worker was standing behind.

The truck went over 400 feet down the street.

Good Samaritans came from a nearby business and used a tire jack to raise the car off of the victim and pulled him out.

The victims’ legs were amputated from the thighs down and he has life-threatening injuries.

The driver was unconscious and both men were transported to local hospitals.

The CVPD is investigating and the C St is closed between 5th Ave and Broadway.
