Car Plows into House in Santee

11.04.2020 | 11:02 AM | SANTEE – A female resident walked away uninjured after plowing her car into her house Wednesday morning.

The mishap occurred just after 11 AM along the 9500 Block of Mandeville Rd in Santee.

The female resident of the home was pulling into her garage and for unknown reasons, the car was driven through the back wall and into the house.

Authorities with the Santee Fire Department arrived and assessed the structure.

The building inspector was summoned to the scene, where he red-tagged a portion of the house, however, the rest of the home was determined to be habitable.

There is significant damage seen inside the home, and it took tow crews some skill to remove the vehicle from the home.
