Car Plows Into House Causing Major Damage | El Cajon

05.14.2021 | 10:32 PM | EL CAJON – A male was traveling Northbound on Vista Sierra Dr. at a high rate of speed when he could not negotiate a curve, went down an embankment and crashed directly into the garage of a house.

The male was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated by firefighters. The male was transported to Sharp Memorial in unknown condition.

County building inspectors have been requested to check the structure integrity of the building.

The California Highway Patrol has requested a Blood Tech to respond to the hospital to determine if the driver was under the influence at the time of the crash.
