Car Literally Flies Into Residence | La Mesa
10.22.22 | 10:30 AM | LA MESA – 1st Responders arrived at the scene of a car into a residence.
The Mercedes with its adult male driver and a 12-year-old male was northbound on Spring St, apparently at a high rate of speed.
The driver lost control for unknown reasons and went off the roadway.
The car missed the guardrails and went off of the embankment and got airborne.
The car launched and cleared a fence and a wall, hitting the side of the home.
The car then landed partially on a wall, on the side of the house, and on top of the gas lines.
Both of the people inside the car managed to get out.
There was one resident who was inside the home.
The two males were transported with major injuries, the adult to Sharp Memorial and the juvenile to Rady Children’s.
The car hit, where the two small children play in the room.
The female resident is extremely upset as this is the second time, this residence has been hit in the same manner, back in 2018 when the house was under construction.
She wants the City or the HOA to build a wall and wants to know why it hasn’t happened already.
