Car Launches Into Air, Lands On 2nd Vehicle During Crash | Lemon Grove

10.02.2021 | 12:06 AM | LEMON GROVE – The male driver of the blue car was exiting the eastbound Hwy 94 at Massachusetts Ave at a high rate of speed. The driver didn’t make the turn and went into the vegetation between the off-ramp and the on-ramp to eastbound Hwy 94 from Massachusetts Ave. As the car neared the on-ramp, it was launched into the air and hit the female driver of the other car as she was heading for the highway. The male’s car hit the female’s car and flipped onto its roof. The female’s car was destroyed. Both drivers were transported with unknown injuries to the local hospital. The male driver is believed to be DUI and a Blood Tech is being sent to the hospital for a blood draw for evidence, The on-ramp was closed for over 1 hour.
