Car Jacking Suspect Leads Deputies on Pursuit

DETAILS:
- HCSO D1 deputies located a car jacking vehicle on 249 and Antoine
- Suspect fled from deputies and an extended pursuit ensued
- pursuit lasted almost 45 minutes
- a deputy was involved in a major crash during the pursuit with a motorcycle aldine bender and hardy
- suspect went up and down 45, and hardy
- eventually the suspect went from Little York South on Airline before crashing out at Sunnyside
- Suspect fled on foot for an extended period before being taken into custody (on cam)
SEE VIDEO 2 WITH SOT FOR FURTHER. DEPUTY AND K9 SUSTAINED NO MAJOR INJURIES. FEMALE MOTORCYCLE RIDER IS STABLE. 1 ADDITIONAL HCSO UNIT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE DURING THE PURSUIT. SUSPECT WILL BE FACING NUMEROUS CHARGES, INCLUDING AGG ROBBERY, FELONY EVASION, AND POSSIBLY HOME INVASION.
