Car Hit by Metrolink Train

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 10-9-25, 7:18 a.m.
LOCATION: Spruce St and E. La Cadena
AREA/CITY: Riverside
DETAILS:

1. Riverside Police Department and The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a reported train vs a car traffic collision.
2. When units arrived, they found a car that had been hit by a train and a Metrolink train.
3. The lone occupant in the car was transported suffering from unknown injuries.
4. The Metrolink train remained at the scene, and did have an unknown number of passengers on it.  No injuries were reported on the train.
5. Tracks were shut down causing delays for other railway transportation, the tracks remain stopped for an unknown duration.
6. The reason the car was on the tracks is unknown
