Car Flies Off Of The Freeway, Nearly Slams Into Small Home
INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 6-3-24, 2:12 a.m.
LOCATION: SR 60 EB, WO Heacock St
AREA/CITY: Moreno Valley
DETAILS:
- California Highway Patrol, Riverside and Cal Fire, Riverside County, Moreno Valley responded to reports of a car that flew off of the freeway and hit a building with the occupant trapped and lines down.
- When units got on scene they found a solo car, wrong way off of the freeway that went off the road and came to rest inches from a house.
- The driver fled the scene.
- The occupants of the home are shaken but not injured and did not want to go on camera.
- CHP is currently looking for the driver.
- No injuries have been reported but according to Cal Fire, the people in the home are extremely lucky that the car did not go into the house.
