Car Crashes Through Wall, Bursts Into Flames Killing The Driver

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: Monday 5-27-24 / 11:58pm
LOCATION: NB 405 Fwy transition to NB 605 fwy
AREA/CITY: Seal Beach, CA
DETAILS:

1. CHP and OCFD responded to a solo vehicle traffic collision involving a sedan into the center divider in the HOV express lanes on the NB 405 fwy transition to the NB 605 fwy.
2. Upon CHP arrival, they located the solo vehicle TC and pulled the driver out of the vehicle before the car fully engulfed into flames.
3. The driver was pronounced deceased onscene, OCFD extinguished the fire.
4. CHP is investigating
