Car Climbs Tree in DUI Crash | Santa Barbara

02.28.2021 | 2:29 AM | SANTA BARBARA – Emergency crews responded to a call of two overturned vehicles on the Carrillo St off-ramp from northbound lanes of US-101.

When crews arrived on scene, the found an overturned sedan in lanes and another resting vertically on a tree.

The driver of the overturned sedan was transported to the hospital and is suspected of DUI. The occupant(s) of the sedan resting on the tree fled the scene.

CHP Santa Barbara is investigating.
