Car Bursts Into Flames & Shuts Down 210 Off-Ramp | San Bernardino

09.21.2022 | 10:00 PM | SAN BERNARDINO – The east bound hwy 210 off ramp was temporarily shut down after someones car reportedly burst into flames dead center in the middle of the off ramp.

Originally reported on the freeway by CHP as a vehicle suddenly engulfed in flames, BDC fire responded and found a single red mini SUV fully engulfed.

The car was parked in the middle of the stated street off ramp on the east bound side of hwy 210.

CHP shut down the off ramp for about 30 – 45 minutes while fire fighters worked to extinguish the blaze.

Fire fighters appeared to have some issues getting full knock down as the part of the engine where the battery was likely located continued to to spark and flare up shooting showers of sparks and bright white flashes.

The occupant could be seen with just a few bags he was able to gather from his vehicle.
