Car Bursts Into Flames After Fontana Freeway Crash

A driver escaped without injury after a sedan crashed and became engulfed in flames early Thursday morning on the 10 Freeway in Fontana.

At approximately 1:07 a.m. on August 20, 2026, officers were alerted to a traffic collision on the westbound 10 Freeway at the Etiwanda Avenue off-ramp.

Arriving units found a sedan fully engulfed in flames.

The driver was able to get out of the vehicle and was not injured. Firefighters responded and extinguished the blaze.

No other vehicles were involved in the collision.
