Car Bursts Into Flames After Crashing Into Tree, One Deceased

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 320am 5-16-24
LOCATION:  Northbound 610 over turning basin
AREA/CITY:  Houston
DETAILS:

1. One person has been confirmed deceased from a white vehicle which left the roadway and struck a tree on the right shoulder
2. HFD located a deceased person inside the burning vehicle
3. VCD is en route, and the entire Northbound side of the freeway is shut down for the duration of the investigation
